When?

When pain gives over to

Sweet lulling rest

When ego gives over to

Thinking its best

When the Heart comes forth

To shine its song

And the body knows

It covers the One.

When all of Life’s trials

Melt into your smile

And, all that you want

Is to rest here a while

Just Breathing and Being

In the Sunlight of Space

And the Moonlight of Grace

That filters your Face.

When the Horizon is clear

And, One endless view

When Light confuses God for you

When your Heart rings in chimes

And beats without time

Disowns all declared ‘mine’

And God sings nursery rhymes

When you know in your heart

That God sees through your eyes

And, your heart constantly reaches its arms to the skies

Takes flight beyond all, and internally flies

When your body submits to Eternal Heart

And its rising waves of you, fall short

Returning to be,

Dissolved into the Sea

When you throw

Your crown Before the King

And dance with angels, to sing

When your heart wants no more

Than to see and be free

Gives all, for Eternity

And, fears separation more than sharp pain

There is no more to gain

When the Eternal Light is hard to pen

And poetry is the only medium

To give voice to your Soul

In One Heart’s continuum

When your body sleeps in Eternal Rest

And yields its stance for the best

To dance awake within the Flow

Only then, in your Heart, will you know

Then, only then,

Will you know when
