Did I, as Shakti

Embrace You, in Spirit

As Shiva?

Was it a Dream

That we embraced

That our souls mixed

In Primal Union?

Did I really melt

Into Your Arms of Light

Consumed in Love

Recognising You

As the One I have been searching?

Were we ‘one’ together

In Passionate Communion

Long lost Spirits Reunited

Resolving a painful, timeless Grief?

Were my breasts torn apart

My Heart exposed

To a Love

Too intense to feel?

Did our Souls

Press together in

Breathless Bliss of Light

Or, Did your Spirit

Penetrate my Soul then

And will my body

Ache in that Remembrance?

A Heavenly Passion

Not meant for corporeal consumption

The Purity of that Union

Aches my mortal heart

In Longing.
