Heaven’s Lure
If we summit the crown
Of Heaven’s mountain
Will we fall
Slip-slide into
Hell’s oblivion?
Is potential descent
Worth the heavenly feat
Of a lifetime’s searching
Striving, stumbling in the dark
If lost in one fall from Grace
Where the gamble proved
Beyond attainment pure.
Yet, That’s Heaven’s lure
For the soul to grapple and grasp
Between Heavenly Joys
And Earthly pleasures
Where Angel dances through
The transparent glass
Of you allowing You
To walk in front
To speak with paused mind
To respond from heart afore
Residing in life’s fuller fullness
Rising towards clouds at the peak
Stilling the flow of life
That is the truly you
Who knew we are invisible
Walking our visibility
Up and Down, Spiralling around
Heaven’s celestial mountain.
To climb the Mountain is the
Unabridged earthly pull
Of the heart not hearted
Our feet poised to serve
The Heart’s higher Vision.
So if I fall, I will pray on my knees
Until you help me up again.
